Garnet & Strawberry Quartz — Two Stones, One Powerful Intention
Most crystal bracelets give you one stone. This one gives you a *conversation* between two — and that pairing is deliberate, not decorative. Natural garnet, deep crimson and glass-clear, anchors the Root Chakra (Muladhara). It grounds your energy, clears fear, and builds an unshakeable foundation for everything you want to attract. Strawberry quartz, soft pink and luminous, opens the Heart Chakra (Anahata). It invites joy, emotional resilience, and the kind of quiet optimism that makes good things actually land in your life.
Between them sit two 14K gold-filled spacers — not just a style choice. In Tibetan energy traditions, gold is considered a conductor that bridges and harmonizes the stones on either side of it. The result: a grounding-to-heart flow, from the base of your spine to the center of your chest, working every time you wear it.
“Garnet has been worn as a talisman for over 5,000 years — by Egyptian pharaohs for power, by medieval travelers for protection, and by warriors for courage. Its name comes from the Latin granatum, meaning pomegranate seed — a symbol of abundance, prosperity, and the fullness of life.”— PotalaStore founder Yang Tso, on the stone’s heritage
This is your everyday lucky charm — not in a superstitious sense, but in the ancient sense: a stone worn with intention, that keeps you grounded when life is turbulent and open when opportunities arrive.
Healing Properties That Ground Your Body and Open Your Heart
Garnet has been used in Ayurvedic and Tibetan healing traditions for centuries to revitalize the body, sharpen the mind, and protect the spirit. Here’s what wearing this bracelet is believed to support — and why the garnet-strawberry quartz pairing makes each benefit stronger:
🔴Physical Vitality
Garnet is associated with blood circulation, stamina, and cellular regeneration. It is said to stimulate prana (life force energy) through the body.
🛡️Protection
One of the most universally agreed properties across crystal traditions: garnet absorbs and deflects negative energy, psychic attack, and environmental stress.
💪Courage & Confidence
Activates the Root and Sacral Chakras to build inner strength, dissolve self-doubt, and sharpen your sense of personal power and direction.
💛Emotional Healing
Garnet releases guilt, resentment, and emotional debris. Strawberry quartz adds joy and optimism — together they shift emotional patterns at the root level.
💰Abundance & Manifestation
Known in Tibetan tradition as a stone of tashi (auspiciousness), garnet is believed to align your energy with opportunities for prosperity and success.
❤️Love & Devotion
Garnet deepens commitment and passion in relationships. Strawberry quartz amplifies heart energy — making this combination especially powerful for love intentions.
Birthstone note: Garnet is the January birthstone and the traditional stone for Capricorn and Aquarius (also beneficial for Aries and Leo). If you were born in January or under these signs, this bracelet is especially aligned with your personal energy.
Why 4mm Beads? Designed for Everyday Elegance and Effortless Stacking
When our founder Yang Tso designed this piece, the 4mm size was a conscious decision — not a default. Most garnet bracelets on the market come in 6mm or 8mm. Here’s why 4mm is better for daily wear:
- Lighter weight (~4.5g total) — you forget it’s there, but the intention keeps working.
- Subtle enough for office, formal wear, or gym — it looks like jewelry, not a statement piece, which means you actually wear it every day.
- Perfect stacking proportions — layer 3–5 bracelets on one wrist without bulk. It pairs seamlessly with watches, other crystal bracelets, or worn alone.
- Better detail visibility — at 4mm, the deep wine-red translucency of each garnet bead reads as refined, not rustic. The gold spacers stand out as an accent, not get lost in the design.
- Fits all wrist sizes — the elastic cord comfortably fits 5.5″ to 8.0″ wrists without adjustment.
This is the bracelet you wear to work, to meditate, and to sleep. Its delicacy is its strength.
How to Wear, Cleanse & Charge Your Garnet Bracelet
Which wrist?
In Tibetan and broader crystal traditions, your left wrist is your receiving hand — ideal for absorbing garnet’s protective, grounding, and healing energy into your body. Your right wrist is your projecting hand — wear it there to actively radiate confidence, manifest goals, or direct garnet’s luck-attracting energy outward into your work and relationships. Most wearers prefer the left wrist for healing and the right for manifestation work.
Setting your intention
Before wearing for the first time: hold the bracelet in both palms, close your eyes, take three slow breaths, and silently state your intention. A simple affirmation that works well with this combination:
“I am grounded, protected, and open to love and abundance.”
Your bracelet has already been consecrated through a 3-day puja ceremony at Sera Jhe monastery. Your personal intention amplifies what the monks have already set in motion.
Cleansing and recharging
Cleanse monthly, or any time the bracelet feels energetically “heavy”:
- Running water — hold under cool running water for 30 seconds. Pat dry immediately.
- Moonlight — leave on a windowsill during a full moon overnight. Both garnet and strawberry quartz respond well to lunar energy.
- Selenite plate — rest on a selenite charging plate for 4–6 hours to clear and recharge without physical contact with water.
- Sacred smoke — pass briefly through sage or palo santo smoke to clear residual energy.
Note: Garnet is rated Mohs 6.5–7.5 (harder than glass). Avoid prolonged saltwater or harsh chemical exposure to preserve the gold-filled spacers.
